In today’s busy world, do we really stop and take a moment for ourselves? Self-care is not a selfish workshop, it’s designed to help you find ways to re charge yourself so you are ready to help others.
Self Care practices can help reduce effect of stress on your body and mind. We will review life enhancing skills, gain information and perform exercises to promote a calmer, stronger body and mind.
In the workshop you will learn about breathing techniques, explore meditation practice, discover how stress and relaxation response affect your central nervous system. Conduct short journal entries and discuss "victim mentality” with time for discussions.
For the last 45 minutes move with your breath in an all-levels gentle yoga practice. Prioritizing your physical and mental health is important to and necessary in today's busy world.
**Bring journal, pen, water, snack and yoga mat if you have one. Mats available in-studio). Dress comfortable.
2 hour workshop and 45 min yoga after.
